Hilder's proven himself as a first grader.

Second to tackler in NRL, can offload in tackles, kicks goals.

Not first grade material, bollocks.

Isemonger has had his best ever season with the Sharks.

Simmons, 9 tries. Not quite ready for first grade, but has potential. Anderson instead of Simmons  While we're at it lets bring Loloa Milford back. :x Don Tweddle anyone?

I agree that we haven't made any decent signings for 2005, (hopefully Dykes) but we have retained a nucleus of our better players.

Simmons, 9 tries

If he was getting paid on for and against he would be broke!

Take a look at the Newcastle wingers last night and tell me again about Simmons !!

Hilder has been one of our better players this year.

If I had a dollar for every penalty I have seen Nutley give away I'd be living in a villa in Spain by now.

Simmons is just crap. We have the worst wingers in the competition by a country mile. Our centres are not that much better.

Isemongers form this year has dropped off in my opinion. Had a few good games early, now does nothing special, aka Bickerstaff. Lomu is better than both of them.

We need some wingers with balls.

Iseomonger if this is his best season, my god what was his worst, he never threatens the line, drops ball at crucial times and has very few dominate players, and to say he had good season come on

do you need glasses?
You said the same last week & he didnt drop the ball.
this week he drops one of MATTHEW REICK pass! Yes, thats right! Stinky crabbing across & setting up support play. I'll bet my bottom dollar Ice was trying to be decoy for stinky to get some space.
it wasnot a good pass but definitely catchable.
Stick to the facts & stop makin shyte up SSB68.

btr,
tell me the last time Isemonger threatened the defensive line the last time he made dominate tackles, or even look at being the player of the game, he is no where near the class of player we need in the backrow, he would be lucky to be playing firsts at any club in the top 8

discipline - We are still yet to return to the days under Lang where we were one the most disciplined sides in the comp.
Raper has much work to do in this area, as it has not improved one bit since last season.

tactics - Well our tactic all year has been, Defend for twenty minutes and then put Sully on, and all will be good. Again here I remain unconcerned, we have points in us, but it hard to score points when your players are constantly standing in a huddle near our posts.
Our defence has been nothing short of pathetic.
Our primary goal needs to be improving our defence line.

selections - Where do you start? I'll start with Bird, has been ample opportunity outside Kimmorely, our winning ratio with the Bird/Kimmorley combo speaks for itself.
My position on the 60 min hooker is well documented, helps our attack, leaves gapping holes in the defence.
My observations are Raper kept picking teams to score points and not defend the line. The selection of Merritt, Reick and Simmons over Saleh highlights this for me. Saleh is easily the best defensive winger we have but he could not get a run.
The use of bench often puzzled me.
Raper however did show faith in many players, and his persistence in keeping combos together did not end up helping but the theory was solid.

handling - Same as discipline for mine

tackling - appaling - both tactically and technique. Easily our biggest downfall.
26.8 ave against, how can a team be expect to win when they leak so many points.

Gotta disagree with you as well Millers, think Hilder plays consistently well. He is not a game winner but is solid and definately first grade standard. Nutley I have had enough of, does too many stoopid things for my liking. That shoulder charge he tried on the weekend was terrible.

Take the bit about about dominant tackles out and you might have an argument. Of all our players, he is our hardest hitter!!!

Did Hilder do something personally to you Millers :p He is our most consistent player who doesnt do anything special, just gets the job done. Makes his tackles, holds onto the ball etc. I cant thinkof any other Sharks player as consistent as Hilder - Sullivan was until recently where he has dropped off a little.

players not up to first grade standard

nutley
hilder

Possibly the one of the DUMBEST thing i have ever heard. Both are our hardest 2 workers. Before you comment how about you watch some sharks games.

As for calling Hilder soft, that is definately the Dumpest thing i have ever heard.

Watch the replay of the match against the Broncos at Suncorp. Isemonger scored two tries.

Isemonger had a much worse season in 2003. He scored a hatrick of tries against South Sydney.
