Where has it been announced he has signed? I haven't read anything. I don't think Tony Peters is anything to go by, he's wrong more often than he is right.

while Newcastle's Timana Tahu is expected to announce he has accepted an offer from Parramatta, who are also close to signing South Sydney prop Paul Stringer.

Jamie Lyon has told Parramatta he will not return to the NRL next season. Lyon, who is under contract to the Eels until 2007, must tell the club by June 30 each year of his intentions for the next season and his agent Allan Gainey said Eels officials had been advised last week that the 22-year-old wanted to play only for Wee Waa. The Eels then upped their offer to Newcastle's Timana Tahu, who is expected to sign today, but they haven't given up completely on Lyon returning in 2006.

Parramatta made no signing announcements yesterday but are increasingly favoured to win the signature of Cowboys forward Glenn Morrison.

The Tigers were also believed to have made a late offer to Morrison yesterday after withdrawing from initial negotiations.

Morrison met with his manager late last night to discuss the Parramatta offer as well as packages put forward by English clubs Wigan and Bradford.

It is believed Morrison is leaning towards the three-year deal with the Eels, which would mean he and his family could move back to Sydney where both their families are.

"[England] is quite appealing, it's a good time for me and my partner to go away while our baby is so young and we don't have to worry about schools; they're good offers and good clubs," Morrison said.

"It's a good position to be in with all the options but it's tough."

I just have a feeling Parra are waiting to see if they get Tahu & Morrison before do a big announcement of all 4 (Robinson, Morrison, Stringer & Tahu) rather then just anouncing 1 every couple of days.
