NEIN shaft Super League AGAIN

With the tennis being a delayed telecast and being played at 1pm, the Super League which is due to be shown at 2.00pm has been cancelled.

On contacting Channel 9 I have been advised that there's no plans to show the game at a later time and even if the tennis finishes BEFORE the scheduled start time of the Super League, it wont be shown anyway and a filler programme will be picked instead.

At least we wouldnt miss a game of it and wouldnt be on at the same time as an NRL game.

Delaying it until there was an NRL game on Foxtel ensured low ratings were inevitable. Why split the audience you're chasing? It makes absolutely no sense at all.

Whoever is in charge of programming at Nine hasnt got a clue.

Don't know if this is foxtel or Nine but I 'taped' both semis on my IQ box.
Leeds - Dragons cut out after 93minutes on IQ clock, 62nd minute of the game!
Saints - Wigan did better, cut out after 78 mins of the game.

the audience that they are trying to target, being the fans of ESL and hardcore rugby league nuts would all have foxtel too because this is the only way we have been able to watch the games for the last few years.

Sorry to say, but get used to it kids, Fox Sports will not be taking the rights from Nine over the remaining 2 years of the contract, sorry.
