If, like me, you find yourself with a sudden abundance of time and have always loved a good isometic RPG, this might interest you.

Neverwinter Nights, even at nineteen years of age, is still a thriving game thanks to the ability for people to create and maintain persistent online worlds.

I've just rolled a character on the Arelith server, but there are quite a few of them. Some are more PvE and Diablo like, while Arelith is a strict RP-server.

Something to consider!

My first feedback: the game can be really fun if there are other players around for you to interact with.

Since none of the missions are scripted (they're mostly just kill X or collect Y), it feels really lifeless if you are just walking around on your lonesome only interacting with NPCs who don't have scripted quests you can take.

Played on Arelith's Underdark server and there were heaps of people running around, so it was easy to find other players to join a party with and do a little RP. Switched to their surface server and it was just me rattling around inside a large city populated by listless NPCs.
