Nev came into my store yesterday and again today, he is up here on a holiday with some friends and family. I didn't mention the '76 grand final, as you wouldn't. His mate bought a Parra Jeresy and a Parra t-shirt.
Nev is helping out Wyong RL club and said former Eel and Crushers player Troy Pezet is the starting Halfback there and has been playing great footy.
He's a bit on the heavy side these days is Nev, you would never have know he was a winger looking at him now.

I'll second that.

I spent some sensational afternoons down at Cumberland Oval watching Nev carve up opposition after opposition.

I salute you   ......Neville Glover.

Indeed I do.

With today's technology though, I suspect the "NO TRY" sign might have flashed up.
Still, it WAS the Bulldogs. We'll take it. ;-)

Do you remember the "Juggle" of the ball that went through his legs from back to front, before he scored a try? Can't remember who it was against.

I vaguelly remember the ball juggling try, I think it was against a gun side like Manly or St George but I just can't remember who it was against.

I was at penrith park one day when he had gone over to Penrith.

It was so rainy that all the players were in brown not just the panthers.

He stood in the Parra back line and they gave him the ball about 20 m out from the peny line.

He turned and ran 80m to score. lol
