Interesting, you can really see it in their game. Parra got alot of Broncos on their backs today and this style of training would have helped achieve that. Just another technique in slowing down the play the ball.

Problem is Melbourne got into trouble for it yesterday from Robert Finch

I'm not sure that the elbow across the throat will be looked at too well by the refs.

I'm all for that type of training for our players coz:

a) it teaches them about motion and that instead of fighting against motion or momentum, you should learn to use it against your opposition. I think a good example is the CUMBERLAND THROW used by Ray Price in the good ol' days.

b) it allows Muzza to stand up to Mason!!!

The guys on the "NRL on Fox' were saying that a lot of teams have starting incorporating some sort of martial arts instructions into their training for that reason. What's the bet that Hagan has a whinge about it this week as well...that bloke just can't help himself.
