Worth, Tolar and Jaques were all given a run in the Roosters trial, and big Dane Tilse got rave reviews for his form in the Premier league trial against the dogs.

Brendan Worth is a prop who is a good size and still young enough to play Flegg. He went up to Premier League after the end of Flegg last season and played most games off the bench.

Tolar is a few years older, but he still seems to be developing. He is the type of prop who just tucks the ball under his wing and crashes forward 10 metres every time. I think he would be a good man to have on the bench to make some hard yards for us.

Jaques is a lock or second rower who crashes forward as well, and he often crashes through and makes some good breaks.

Dane Tilse is the most exciting prospect - he is a big unit who tries to dominate the field when he is out there. He picks the biggest guy on the opposite side and gives him some in both attack and defence.

Others who might feature are Riley Brown, Mat Bartlett, and tahts about it.

elusive winger, your sig says "Newcastle are a one man band"??!??

Here's a suggestion, how about using your sig for something constructive, such as telling us which team you support?

Don't waste your time with Elusive Whinger Astro - he's a troll from many boards.

Probably a Roosters supporter to boot.

Probably a Eagles fan as thats what their sig now says.

I could tell them what their team would need this year in order to win the
comp but I would take too bloody long to type. :p

Have fun battling for the Spoon with the Bunnies elusive winger.

Anyways back on topic, I like the sound of these forwards we have coming through the ranks Roopy, any chance some of these guys will take a step up this season to 1st grade?

I think kennedy will play as many games as T. Hill this year. Hope to hell johns doesn't gert injured mate or you'll be fighting with souths for the spoon.
You better start to think about the panthers. I've been watching them at training. Whysser is going well under the high ball and looking real solid.

I think so to. back to the original topic then. The talk out this way all week has been how motivated the panthers pack is for the knights. It will be a full house.

Couldn't agree more with your comments on Tilse. I can't wait to see what he can offer the first grade team in the near future. Another quality Novocastrian forward in the production line. 8)

Another Scone thouroughbred. They have turned out some beauties in the last few years. Albert, Morris, Lowrie and now Tilse.
