No apparently, according to some storm fans, it is because I am a bitter and twisted dragons fan. If anyone who disagrees with the storms and turners conduct& happens to be a dragon, well it is because we are bitter and twisted,........... no really

yeah the 99 GF really made you guys angry didn't it? Half time the newly formed St George Illawarra Dragons were leading and then the Storm came out firing clinching the win with a penalty try and a Geyer conversion. Of course after that try I was willing the Storm to rub salt into the Dragon's wounds, forgetting what happened to Manly 2 years earlier when bloody Newcastle stole the GF.

I dont have a problem with storm, I have a problem with how the club and turner conducted themselves, a fairly easy distinction i would have thought lotti

Johnsy,it doesnt matter which team you support,as soon as you voice your disagreement of melbourne the insults instantly appear and all hopes of a rational discussion are gone!

so you believe that the Titans behaved better than the Storm do you? Especially when they had 2 months to get Turner to sign before Turner rang them up and said that he wanted to back out of the agreement. Yes they could've gone to the Titans as well as the NRL but they didn't so can we please do what the media isn't doing and allow the whole mess rest.

He only wanted to back out because of the extra money being waved at him by melbourne..the same melbourne that originally didnt want him!
Why should we let it rest, when it seems the trade agreement may not proceed...letting it rest would be what melbourne wants, now they have their turner back and one of the players they have offered has a bung shoulder.

Melbourne Storm's Steve Turner says he is relieved he can now play football for the Storm, after the club and the Gold Coast Titans came to an agreement which saw the winger remain with Melbourne and the Titans gain compensation.
Since both parties agreed The Titans had better not want break a leagally binding agreement. :sch:

or the Storm might remind the Titans that the deal came about because they wanted Turner to honour a verbal agreement so they can't back out. According to reports the Titans(or as some of us over at a certain forum call them the Titanics) sent Turner a contract and Turner didn't sign it which means he either didn't see the contract or there was something in it other than the money that he didn't like.

You Drizzle fans have no idea what's in the agreement btw them and the GC. Just because the papers say "agreement" doesn't mean it's without conditions so we'll just have to wait and see how this one pans out.

I'm pretty sure I read an article in the paper up here today, which actually said the agreement stipulated that the 2 players being transferred had to be fit and healthy, in which case it would be Melbourne that is in the wrong, once again. I will see if I can find an online link.
