hey guy was wondering your opinions in an attempt to try and start a jim beam cup team on the north coast of new south wales for 2009 like around port macquarie or coffs harbour or maybe in between so i could involve the elite players from both areas and through out the north coast i beleive i could complete a competitive roster but i was just wondering would it get any support from you guys or yeh i beleive i would be able to find sponsorship fairly easy and would have to recruit a few senior players from already existing jim beam and nsw cup to give leadership skills and that maybe try and attract a coach like Scott mieni ex country coach who is living on the north coast

tell me what you guys think

would be a closer step to nrl for many around the area

What concerns me about new teams is that many of them under estimate the competition and it is developing to the haves and the have nots.
Lets have a 2 level NSW Cup with the winners moving straight up while the last team moves down and runners up and second last play off to see which level they will play in the following season.

What about linking up with North Sydney in a feeder arrangement. Excess Bears would then go into your JBC side instaed of at the monment being slit between Berowra and Athquith A grade.

A believe the Bears would be open to this.

Only proberlem I can see is travel cost but Send us a message.

It is essential I think. We missed the beam side for a season and have realised the need for it apparently, and linked up with the Rhino's. Though they dont seem to be goin that well as players have rotated and been required early with the roosters current injuries etc.

Top back up though for quality game fit replacements.
