I actually did't mind Significant Other and Chocolate Starfish.

The fact I was a teen angst stoner at the time MAY have helped though....

I'm the first to give them crap...

However, "Nookie" had a great beat, I actually think Wes Borland is a talented guitar player and their last album "The Unquestionable Truth Part I" was a bit more mature. Obviously they still pale in comparison to bands with real talent, but they have released the odd good song.

Three Dollar Bill Yall$ was a very good album, as was Significant Other. I liked Chocolate Starfish a lot but was sort of growing out of them by that stage i think, from what ive seen and heard it looks like i picked a good time to tune out.

Ill still throw on the old albums every now and then though and remember the good old times.

I'll happily admit that I really enjoyed Significant Other & Chocolate Starfish, and seeing them at my first BDO (also first time I'd been to gig with international acts) when I was 19 years old helped cement them as a guilty pleasure. I'll still pull some of those songs out from time to time for that nostalgia hit of angsty RRRAAARRRGGHH!!!!

You wanna be down with the G-shock, F*ck the Glam Rock, Assed out like Ken Shamrock!!!!

Haven't listened to any of their songs released after those except that terrible version of Behind Blue Eyes (though that did get me back into The Who thankfully back in 2003, which apart from their megahits I'll ashamedly admit not really having taken much notice of them prior to then) and seeing The Unquestionable Truth video on music channels a couple of times whenever that was released.

Sounds like I will also give this latest one a miss as well. Oh, just noticed this is a 3 year old thread, awesome.

Their cover of "Behind blue eyes" was good (apart from the bit where the computer spells out L-I-M-P)
But I'm sure any decent acoustic version of that song would be pretty good.
