I don't find it fair that recently arrived members feel free to come in here, use names that degrade the country or other members (i.e A Man amongst boys).
Also, I find it disgraceful that there are at least 10 threads degrading Australian RL for it's decision. It promotes shame and instability in our game. Simple.
As legend has referred in another post, it's sad that you only post when provoked by an Australian decision. If you are a true fan you will stay. and not just post as a 'fly-by-night' sort.

And if you all feel so strongly, why not write to the ARL and tell them? Whinging gets you nowhere.

Cheers

Well, that's one point of view.

Maybe it took something like this to get us to join. And stay we will, eventually when all this is over, about League

I personally have not degraded Australia: it did it all by itself. I am merely a mirror.

And if you think I am upset about this, then just visit the totalrl.com forum and see what people are loke when they are REALLY upset.

So far I have e-mailed the Broncos, Storm, and the Roosters, Colin Love, Geoff Carr and am about to fax John McDonald.

Have I missed anyone?

Yeh, the other 50% of the Aussie public who don't want the tour to go ahead.

There are reasons they aren't going, you people are just so oblivious to them.

I think its fair enough for these new members to come here at a time when they are obviously very pissed off.
And for the record, I think it stands at about 75% of Aussies against the decision of the ARL, no where near 50%. I base my opinion on listening to 2UE for 2 hours last night.
Dog you should go and have a look at the forums at www.totalrl.com and www.rlfans.com . There are some bitterly disappointed English supporters.

It would seem my worst nightmares are coming true. After the rebel faction separated from WORL to escape the tedious postings of the Girdlerette brigade it seems a new wave of dribblers have arrived. 15-20 posts all proclaiming the same thing yet saying nothing. I have nothing againstthem having a shot at us/an opinion, but at least keep it within the same thread. And as far as the continuing reference to the 'Roos & ANZAC's, well I just find that completely & utterly disrespectful. If they honestly believe that footballers can in anyway be compared to soldiers, whether current or past, then reality has definitely left them behind. This isn't pommie bashing, I respect the likes of Gav, kier & few others, but I guess for each prince around the paupers will always follow.
Maybe when the posts return to quality over quantity I'll re-assess my assumptions, but until then I guess it's back to the old days of wading through the crap in search of a good read.

Eels fan,

I'm not at all surprised with the anger expressed from the few Brits who have posted over the last day, and I am responsible for them being here, I invited them!

Let's just hope that one or two will choose to carry on posting in the long run. 'A man amongst boys' is IMO a top quality poster on the TRL forum, his presence here is most welcome.

Gav...
I have absoloutly no problem with any of the new guys & think their differing opinion is what this place needed. If we all thought the same (which quite a few here generally do) then boredom would soon prevail. I just dont want to go down the path of spending ½hr to find a decent post again. Im sure when this situation isresolved once & for all everything will settle down again. Either way, no worries.

Hang in there mate. There's nothinggoing on here that can't fixed up to your liking.
You're not alone in your thoughts but I think you'll find that things will simmer down real soon.
The multiple threads have already started diminishing and I think the majority are already respecting views like yours.
The initial burst of threads was brought about mainly by the topic and it's background.
The new members are more than welcomed. I'm sure many of them will soon become valued members of LWOS and will enter into a variety of discussions.
