Im still listening to tracks on a daily basis.

I rate it higher than Neon Bible. Flows better imo.

House Of Cards, eek. What a track.

"The ballad ''House of Cards'' is that old soul-man trope, the adultery invitation — though in Yorke's hands it becomes something more complicated, as he intones the word denial (in a strange echo of ''Smells Like Teen Spirit'') amid brooding strings and rapturous falsetto."

Please.

Kurt wasn't fit to be Thom's guitar tech.

Poor comparison imo.

Personally, I'd go:
OK Computer > Kid A > In Rainbows > Amnesiac = The Bends = Hail To The Thief > Pablo Honey

Funny how different peoples music tastes are. I thought OK computer was one of the most boring albums ive ever heard and thorougly enjoyed Pablo Honey and would have it as my fav radiohead album.

I think they are a bit of love them or hate them as they seem to get more dull and bland as they go on to me yet others rave about them like they are the 2nd coming.

I would never have bought the new album before but since I can try it for free ill give it a go and see if they suprise me with something interesting, which I would then pay for.

Music opinion aside, great idea on there part to cut out the middle man and make the sale from fan to them.

However I havent heard 1 song on commercial radio, you think not having a label means they dont get played as the commercial radio stations will plug albums companies want them to? Or it has been plaed and i just missed it?

Why not though? Ive heard stuff from Pablo Honey to OK computer regularly on MMM.

Is it record companies pushing this or does the new stuff just not appeal to the commercial stations anymore?

It's a bit of both, but mainly the fact that Radiohead possesses some talent which immediately disqualifies them from being played on commercial radio.

Isn't most of this kind of music that makes it to commercial radio, usually about 4-6 months old by the time they promote it as brand new music? They usually wait for it to do well through record sales or for it to be a hit on triple j before picking it up.
