I was under the impression that Maloney always had a verbal agreement with the knights. If he was released they he first dibs.
Maloney, ponga and Watson. New halves.
How does Watson go in defence?

Maloney had year left did we release completely or Knights paying sum.

On Tariq Sims might be some legs this is 2nd dragon forward potentially leaving early as Joel Thompson possible to eagles

I just hope we aren't left with nothing.
I'm sure the club won't let Maloney leave without a viable replacement.

The halves department needs a few new reserves as well doesn't it?
If our main halves get injured, we are gonna need another Nu Brown type running around to replace them.

I guess Flanno is really banking on Flan Jnr to go all the way.

You would think Newcastle now would be pushing the cap, i mentioned it before i think Brock Lamb goes ok, would be worth the punt for the club to get him for halves, that even if we get Moylan for backup as well.

Maloney as it stands has no release. He was told he could look around without board approval. The board wanted to extend. It is a total mess and without going into details agreements have been broken and I don't think there is any coming back from it personally but I'm not in the room. Moylan, Maloney, Flanno all have the same manager and tensions are very stretched.

Warrington is gathering momentum, the uk was the plan for after this deal. I'd put money on them or Penrith. McGuire wanted him at souths but he is gone now. Knights have signed their halves, 100% no verbal done there as of a few days ago. Options have dried up. And I'd trust my source over any on here.

Flanno was on NRL 360 last night and he looked like he hadn't slept in days.
