"I still don't think its worth it. Aussies will cop it on the chin and rise again like always."

Topaz, who will you rise up to in the future? At this rate, in a Rugby League sense, you'll be left with no-one else to play against. The antics of a few Aussies are putting the whole game of Rugby League in great jeopardy.

I've had a sway.

This morning I heard that the Aus. swim team is going to NY for a competition. They are being asked to sign waivers and they will.

I will get behind any movement to send the Roos to GB but IWILL NOTsink to gutter level and make fun of Australia. That shows a lack of respect for humankind.

Glynys, Gav and anyone I've offended, I apologise. But I think one is due in return.

Cheers

You're right Tim. I was out of order in suggesting you were ignorant, and I apologise for that.

man amongst boys is right on the money,we have toproceed withour daily activities to show these terrorists that we will not back down, the tour must procceed!!!

i find it hard to fathom that anyone could say no to representing there country even in these difficult times, without patting myself on the back i have been fortunate enough to represent my country in sport and i can tell you i would have been absolutly shattered if one or two players denied me of that opportunity,if these players don't want to go replace them with someone who does,we have the depth to field 4 teams whichcould probably beat the poms, rugby league always finds away to put there foot in it !!!

cheers pepe

I'm not going to get to trading insults with you - with a name like yours you sound like a child of hippies where I am old enough to have been one of the hippies.

Your description of me would not be recognised by anyone who knows me - in fact, my "kids" laugh because I need to know that they are safe all the time. But my aim has always been to support them not smother them. After my son came back from Sri Lanka, he joined London Broncos RL team as an apprentice and stayed there for 3 years through to 1st team squad. I supported him at every game he played in those 3 years, travelling 400 miles every other weekend to watch the team play away. Now he's at University 200 miles away but he phones me every day, as does my 24 year old daughter who is 250 miles away. And when she comes to your end of the world (which I have heard is wonderful) to backpack around the Antipodes after Christmas for 6 months, I will probably have to tell her not to phone me so often and email me instead. I certainly won't stop her going even though they have discovered a nest of Bin Laden terrorists in Sydney! (You see, you are not immune from the war, the whole world isinvolved).

Hope your children will be just as loving when the time comes for them to fly the nest.

No Glynys I'm far from a hippi child, my childhood was far from a free and happy one, Anyhow I would like to apologise for any undue comments I have past your way. I just found out my son has the choice to fly the coupe already in the name of RL.

I still don't think they should go. I don't see that it should make them less of an Australian, which I'm not, ora coward, or stupid or soft.

The future generation of RL will take it to a new height, it is far from jeopardised by these latest actions. Who knows, the way things are looking, you all may have your wish of seeing the tour go ahead.

Cheers all
