What happend to Meriton?

In 2000 they were Major and Short Sponsor of the Joint-Venture. This looked to be the case in 2001 as well, until Don Small Goods came on board offering more for the naming rights. This then seen Meriton stay on as Short sponsor for 2001. 2002, they withdrew sponsorship in naming rights, but stayed on as a prinicpal sponsor. That was the last i heard of Meriton's sponsorship involvement. I think Harry made up his mind about Wests Tigers and Rugby League in general, and would rather invest his $$$ in Residential units and apartments overlooking the Parramatta River with City views in Leichhardt then watch football.

I think you will find that he will only support the re-entry of a Balmain only rugby league side Simon.

He apperantly has been trying to open discussions about this for an extended period of time yet apperantly no one has been willing to grant his wish...

I heard that halfway during the 2003 season he actually approached Noyce and of course Monk on the matter but apperantly it was thrown out the window because he was for the sole entry of Balmain and not the Wests Tigers.

HIH, OneTel, Ansett, Pan, Pasminco and a million other companies were all legitimate at one point in time as well :lol:

Never trust a company that spends up big on advertising whilst still establishing themselves. Great indicator of a poor management structure

I have my contacts, but am not privvy to which of the contenders will win our sponsorship deal. What I do know is we are supposedly in a very good negotiating position and management is making the best of this situation. Apparently our bargaining power is the best its has been since the joint venture started.

Not even the staff at WT are being made aware of what is happening it is that tight lipped..........
It has been hinted to me that everything will be quite rosie very soon...........

Theres no kebab shops in Raby.
There are two on Queen Street, one in Minto Mall, one in Campbelltown mall, and one at Macarthur Square.

WRONG the milk bar in raby shops makes kebabs i always buy one when im up that way to have a drink with my old mates at raby pub.

Wests Tigers are in a good position for sponsors this time around simply because League itself is moving forward quite successfully. The value of sponsorships the past couple of years has been going up, which is a huge positive for the game.

Radison Maine was a shocker of a company, under constant ASIC supervision, caught out in the end for not evening offering Financial solutions, it will be good 2 see them gone.

& also this year theres a lot more sponsorship money on the market & with only 2 sides without sponsors at the moment both of them can shop around for the best deal
