Nope. New change rooms for away players and officials will be built in the southern stand as part of this development.

The Graeme Langlands Stand has a nice ring to it. Also IMO the stand at Kogarah should be named the Frank Facer stand.

Not sure what more they could do to make it similar to the Northern Grandstand.

1. Two tier, three level design.
2. Corporates on first level between the two tiers.
3. Relatively steep rake on seating tiers.
4. Clamshell seats
5. etc etc

Of course there are differences, otherwise known as improvements. This reflects:

a. Less compromised design because of the lack of a loading dock limiting the lower tier and a rather immovable object otherwise known as the Entertainment Centre.
b. Bigger budget
c. 10 years of advances in stadium design
d. Stronger design values
e. Relatively more important location
f. Attempts to maximise capacity

As for consistency, the main thing that I would like to see is the same coloured seats as the northern stand, would make the ground look alot cleaner and have a certain togetherness about it, even the southern stand should have the same I know it wont happen but would look so much more professional if it had, ie Concord Oval seating arrangement looks so outdated in 2010
