Simple fact is the North Sydney Bears are not relocating to Perth. They are staying in Sydney. They are being foisted on as partners of the NRL franchise in Perth by the NRL. Their club, their teams, their juniors, their leagues club all remain in Sydney. The Sydney Swans were a complete relocation. The comparison is BS and claptrap by the insecure Sydney centrists who cannot imagine a new team in Perth not carrying the carcass of a dead Sydney NRL entity. The reason the afl has murdered rugby league by expansion is they take it seriously. NRL Victoria has been underfunded for decades by the NRL and yet peanuts here then complain about their lack of juniors. That’s how the minds of these peanuts work and it’s why the game has not reached its potential. Who cares about wa ownership? News ltd own majority of broncos and they aren’t brisbane based. your obsession with wa must own something actually blinds you from the fact that the best owners should be the owners, no matter where they’re from.

the nrl side would be operating out of west Australia. who cares what the reserves and junior sides do. it’s the most cost effective way by keeping them in nsw where they’ll play in those comps, which they would be playing in those comps regardless anyways if they were all based in wa but would mean they wouldn’t need to fly out 3/4 grades worth of teams most weeks as opposed to just 1 (nrl side). its a mute point

once warl has its resources to be able to actually be a half decent comp then maybe push for a full relocation. until then it’s a worthless business exercise and a colossal waste of money

It's a moot point. Nobody cares about feeder team. Storm use sunshine coast & the Rabbitohs use Townsville Blackhawks in Qld cup.
North Sydney are only part of WA expansion team & we don't know makeup of ownership.

I couldn’t care less. They moved their first division vfl team, and the club no longer exists as an entity in Melbourne. There is a team playing in the amateurs called the Bloods. That’s it. Sydney swans is a true 100% Sydney team. The comparison is nonsense.
