I personally don't see a problem with it. I can however, see why people would object to it.

The thing is, our game is very multi cultural these days - lots of Kiwi boys play in our comp. Just because someone was born in NZ, but came here (for arguments sake) when they were 2 or 3 years old, and played all their footy here, shouldn't mean they can't play Origin for their state.

I dunno, I don't feel that strongly about it to keep arguing, I just thought it was maybe a point worth discussing.

In your example, they can play for their State - they just have to want to play for Australia, because they are eligible.

When are people going to realise that SOO in its current format is what is holding RL back? I've said this before and I'll say it again, what happens when the Storm produce their first Rep quality junior? Why exclude up to 1/3 of the NRL playing stocks from what is essentially just a mid season 'all stars' game?

Its annoying that SOC has this hype around it, they always go on about how its the most competitive and best footy around and a 3 match NZ/Aus series wouldn't come close because Aus would win every year, all I know is I bet we would have won one series in the last 6 years :lol: A NZ/Aus 3 match series would be better than SOC and would quickly become as big especially over here.

This could only have been the case if the player was deemed to not have played at the ball. Otherwise yes, it should have been 6 to go

But he did play at the ball....very clearly. He charged it down.

Im not disagreeing mate, just offering clarification on the rule and why it may not have been ruled a tackle count restart
