Gus is right. If Anasta's try in the GF was a try, then that was a try to Hohaia. It wasn't, and it shouldn't have been

Farah has played well for Australia.

Great try for New Zealand there. Marshall made Cronk look silly

Kiwis have been poor- bad decisions, silly errors, silly penalties- but they haven't been too far behind Australia in the wash up

They can still win this next week. Australia will definitely be favorites and justifiably so...but NZ will be better than they were tonight

They got beaten by a team with 2nd rate backs, no Lockyer, no Slater and a bench filled with utility players.
This is NZs strongest team and they got hammered, I doubt they'd even come close to Australia when they switch to their best line up.

I don't know.

Plenty of people calling for Boyd to be in the top team and Slater has had his fair share of hairy moments against us

Carney is supposedly the best player in the world right now

Australia were as good, if not better tonight than they have been all tournament

Poor effort by New Zealand. Australia got off to a flying start and it was virtually all over.

Benji is the key if the Kiwis can recover from this. He was sublime in most of his touches.

I wonder if we can get a crowd like that ever again. I think the Kiwis let them down badly tonight.

Okay, fair call on Carney and Boyd.
But even still, they came with a bench filled with 2 utility players, meaning only 2 forwards to interchange, NZ should've absolutely hammered them in the forwards battle.
Australia backs lack Folau, Inglis, Hodges, Hayne. That's a sh*t load of their strike power and high ball advantage gone. Instead they have Tate, Lawrence, Tuqiri and Morris who only got a look in through injuries of incumbents and injuries to their replacements.

It's an absolute joke when a team make-up is made to make the game look like an obvious dead rubber and yet the team that's superior on paper still loses.

But to be fair, I guess NZ were also hammered in the first game of the world cup against Australia last year. I hope NZ put up a much more consistent 80 minute effort.

Been waiting awhile for this match up but wow what a let down.

I hope they are just waiting for the final because otherwise this tournament really won't have offered much quality RL.

Hopefully next years tournament is a lot better.

Pritchard will be a big loss. Harrison will be a good replacement, but Pritchard was looking very good.

McKendry for Blair, Harrison for Pritchard.

Penalty goals are ruining the game... such negative play.

Why kick 6-0 down and 18-8 down?

Seems like those decisions indicate that NZ had no intention of trying to win anyway.

Wally's a banker. Somehow Wally I dont think they're calling you a banker. I think it something that rhymes with it.

Now they're throwing bottles. Typical NZ crowd I guess.
