Shillo is from Redcliffe, our Feeder Club. Joined the Roosters when he was 17 and played in the 2002 Jersey Flegg Grand Final, which we won.

He had a rather nasty hamstring tendon injury which put him out for half the regular season and had an unsurprising effect on the big lad's fitness and weight.

Combine that with Anthony Tuopo's broken leg and it wasn't a good year for our "nextbigthing" props.

A lot of front row forwards are injury prone. That's why there are not too many good ones around.
