Wake Up People!

News Corp (owner of Fox, the Storm and half of the NRL) has an agenda to ruin Rugby League's Melbourne TV audience before the next Pay TV negotiations.

A reduced Melbourne audience is worth more millions in the re-negotiation to Fox then a flimsy salary cap penalty.

ALL THE CLUBS NEED TO DEMAND THE STORM PLAY FOR POINTS for the NRL to change it's ruling.

For the sake of Rugby League:

LOBBY YOUR CLUB NOW!

Who knows what their agenda is.

I would not be surprised.

The conflict of interest stinks to high hell.

This f**king TV deal sh*t rears its head again.
Sigh, ffs, dude, the storm, currently PR poison, are not worth sh*t at the moment, whether they play for points or not.

If they had an ounce of sense they would abandon the storm. No one falls for the Storm making the NRL a national game (except a few yokels on here) and as a consequence the NRL rights reflect their Eastern seaboard worth.

It is time to put Melbourne to sleep!

They put me to sleep too. The problem is the Vics love it and it is the game they grew up with just like we have in Sydney. Pretending we have a national game is not the answer.

Basing NRL sponsorships and TV deals on an illusion is a mistake!

So the Storm pay their fine to the NRL (News Ltd) and as a result of losing sponsors etc... News Ltd will be pumping even more money back into the club.
