Thanks mate - Good luck to the Jets for the finals (will Soward be on board?)...

Aside from the quality of the pitch it was a great advertisement for grass-roots Rugby League.

Has an official crowd for the match been posted? Certainly the biggest I've seen at a non-NRL regular season match.

we only have one crowd figure as we dont count but it is around 3000 according to old timers, what is difficult is the number of people who watch from their cars and the car park was full at 2pm. A big day for us. All we hope is for the council to give us the lease so we can keep it as a league ground and the ground will be ok. It has too much traffic on it.

But with big Frankenstein, Manua, Hall, Kirk, & probably Malcolm, Lai & Dumas leaving as well (i'm hoping Jeremy Gordon, Luke Gordon, Michael Burns, Michael Lett, Troy Savage & Jason Allwood re-sign), & Plum, Shack, John Williams, Josh lewis, Jamie Soward & Joel Monaghan as FGers, the Jets will NEXT YEAR probably field a team along the lines of:

Although, i hope that the Roosters FG team purchases at least two or three more unwanted props from other clubs with contract clauses, so FP Nuu, big Danny, & Millo don't get thrown into the deep end too quickly. I also hope Dumas stays. He drops the ball a bit, but he is a VERY strong runner & defender. Big, mobile unit with skills.
