It redirects to Peter Dousts voicemail…he’s been waiting patiently for the callback
I'll tell you about my "Dousty experience" and I'm pretty sure most Dragons fans have their own version.

In 2011 after a game against the Warriors I was pretty much forced to hang around after the game to wait for the players as my Warriors fan friend is a huge signature hunter. The Warriors highlight for me was meeting Vatuvei and my friend got her Warriors kids jersey signed by every player.

Then it was the Dragons turn. I got to meet Wayne and got a pic with him. I really wanted to meet Ben Hornby but missed out. Got a pic with Nightingale, Beau Scott, Michael Weyman and Jamie Soward which was nice and they all signed my jersey.
Doust was walking around carrying on shaking hands with fans and to my surprise grabbed my jersey and signed it. I was left completely stunned that he thought his signature meant something.

Wayne wanted a longer deal when he signed but doust said he was too old then when he begged Wayne after they won the gf he told him to get lost

Then had Michael Maguire wanting to take over from Bennett but refused to give him full control over the football club so he went and won the comp with souths

His dad was involved with the glory days of the dragons but he was hanging on Frankie facers coat tails

But the Gordon’s don’t seem to be break owners either

Have you been able to scrub his signature off? Jersey went from worth $000s to worthless with a stroke of a pen.

Wouldn't be anyone notable, I wouldn't think.

That being said, if he does get the sack, then I'd suggest this is a smart move to allow the new coach to bring in their choice of players and reinvent the squad where needed.

What, so a couple of blokes from Thirroul butchers will have to keep laying bricks for another fortnight to see if Flange keeps his job... can't see who else would be talking to the Dragons, and even more so, anyone going to the dragons to be coached by Flange is old, slow or a few stitches short of a football.

More than plateaued probs gone backwards still too early for him to get punted

If they miss the eight then sure pressure will start next year

I dunno man, if Gus sees a shiny new toy or just thinks he looks tired, you never know what might happen.

I doubt he goes this year but the main factor is Gus' ego more than any logic

Yeh Penrith axed him at exactly the right time after he built the club up off the field

Think Gus would love to be an nrl coach again one day he said as much hence his meddling

Still think dogs come good and make top six if not top four but they are bad now
