It was the right decision to let Flanagan go. He did make a few mistakes, such as letting go of the halves pairing that steered the Dragons to a NSW GF last year. He let go Jonah Glover and Lachlan Illias. I haven't seen much of Glover, but he had 20 plus try assists in the NSW Cup. Flanagan could've kept at least one of them.

But yeah, no surprise he let his son Kyle stay at the club.

With the roster they have, I think an established coach is the better move. I also don't agree with giving old boys jobs. Pick the best candidate for the job, if that's hornby, then fine. I never agreed with Flanagan being given the reins but I think they need an experienced coach.
