I am a bit ambivalent about this.
I think the referees and NRL, by sticking to their guns, have in general created a much cleaner and better product this year, after dragging the players kicking and screaming with them.
But I also agree with Cleary's complaint in yesterdays presser that the warning and subsequent bin is a bit "out of context" (i.e. random) and so important stages of games, in a tight NRL contest, are decided by pretty minor breaches (and some just wrong calls) that result in sin binnings.
