Re net asset, again your maths seem to be off

AFL net assets $544.4mill
NRL net assets $383.5mill
Yeh nrl has accumulated that in five years and afl over 30 years lol

Plus value of marvel has collapsed with the collapse in land value in Melbourne more like 200 million now lol

so when you said the tv increase would make revenue even you were making it up? Righto. we got there lol.
Hey if nrl manages to eliminate a gap that’s been there for 30 years whilst running a lean operation that’s not good for the afl

dont disagree, but thats irrelevant to your two claims you made, neither of which hold water. Its going to take NRL to knock it out of the park with the TV deal to get equal to AFL's revenue in next 5 years. $355mill is quite a gap!

Id say its massively under valued tbh. It does include it but only at around $250mill. The land its sitting on has been discussed as being worth double that.

what a joke …yes .. that is way unders

when is a State Govt going to do a sweet heart stadium giveaway deal with the NRL? Maybe they can start with HBF? That will make the West Australian happy

Nrl tv deal is going to blitz the afl tv deal even including the money spent on marvel stadium

And I told you nrl is growing non broadcast revenue way faster than afl

Pacific cup game of Samoa v Tonga for example would’ve had revenue of what 5 to 8 million

Revenue from Vegas are growing too etc

Probably when Vlandys gets good at negotiating with nsw govt lol and when nrl has enough money in bank to pay $200mill+ for a stadium and half the Sydney clubs agree to play at it so it makes a profit!

2025 Operations and events
nrl increase last year $84mill
afl increase last year $91million

so nope sorry Wb but you’re wrong on this as well, now the png cash flow and the wa govt cash flow is certainly going to make a positive difference over next few years, for afl the tassie govt cash flow will do same.

$200 million for an asset worth over a billion ? Who wouldn’t be in on that ? I don’t think you would have much trouble getting a loan on that deal

Unfortunately the NSW Govt would never agree to it ..The other sports and media cretins like Peter Fitz get a bit bolshy to the NRL receiving anything …even if if is the biggest sport in the State …. the Victorian zealots consider it an honour to give State assets away to the Cult and the other sports and media seem to shut up about it

AFL do not include the clubs they run in their revenue do they?

No they dont. The clubs are not considered subsidaries of the AFL, are notionally independent of the AFL as commercial entities with separate boards, even if they are appointed by the AFL.

When Gold Coast and Newcastle were run by the NRL, they WERE listed as subsidaries and consolidated in the NRL report.
