Imagine the consternation if they follow us over to evenings, only to find we outrate them if we`ve moved to arvo`s.
Would they dare chase us back again. Really lookng farcical.

Based on what Abdo said at the NRL results

There’ll be conversations no doubt, but these are not “negotiations”. Foxtel and Channel 9 will have an exclusive window. Defining what the offering will be is important, that’s still not clear.

The NRL GF rating so much higher than the AFL GF last year has spooked the F out of them. Funny thing will be even with this change the NRL GF will still rate higher and then what further panic buttons will they push then?

And Kylie Minogue, yawn, getting a 60 year old out there to do the locomotion will be real riveting.

What did Abdo say specifically and where is this quoted ?

Sounds to me now you are trying to hide behind semantics of discussion versus negotiations … moot point really,,,neither you nor I will know the specifics of what has been mentioned during the talks

Pvl needs to hurry up and do the tv deal as there’s potential for 2008 gfc event that will last years

Especially if we get too fuel rationing and similar covid shutdowns on non essential industry

What about Abdo and the commission? Also if we are in a crisis, then do a short term 2 year extension deal, just like what the AFL did. Once things settle down, do a proper tv deal.


Should've done the tv deal after last years GF.

Nrl needs to get the Super League thing sorted one way or the other first … probably not great timing with that …might have been better for the next time …their ambition might be exceeding their reach

Fuel rationing won’t be the crisis lhat Covid was… not really comparable …

AFL confirms Saturday afternoon grand final for next two years

The season decider will remain in its traditional timeslot in 2026 and 2027 after the AFL said there was “no compelling case” for immediate change.
