Look at the revenue these broadcasters make in PNG.

Being unwilling to come up with a figure at this time doesnt make every other link, article and report hogwash.

Good for you. Doesnt mean everyone else has to jump in with you.
Just back your opinions with a number like I did

DAZN also isnt involved at this point.

They will be when the next nrl deal is done

And they didn’t spend 1.5 billion to see that whittled down to basically zero by losing nrl

Past performance is never an accurate predictor of future performance

Obviously look at how channel seven is going now after overpaying for the afl

Not since 1995 has the nrl had more clubs than the afl. That content gap will be gone

Idealism isn’t accepting a rival sport deserves more money than you do that’s just stupidity.

And it’s not your job to keep being negative but here you are

And remember there’s significant upside from nz and maybe even a png tv deal which as ususal you have totally ignored
PNG get nrl now, how much are they paying for it?

just to give some comparative figures
png digital advertising spend $34mill US
australian digital advertising spend $15.6billion

gives you a sense of revenue in media difference between countries

He doesn't care about facts in this discussion.

There are benefits to what the 3 teams bring in. TV isn't one just yet

So how will seven afford the extra 50 million they are paying the afl. That will totally wipe out their profits.

And dazn isn’t broke

Some say they can't afford the next deal. The AFR being one.

Again DAZN will do what is good for the business.

Say they come in and make a bid. Lets say Pay TV they value at $350m.

They will make that bid and that bid only, It takes someone else to want it more and bid against it to raise the price.

They aren't going to come in and drop $600m on the rights unless they are forced too
