I know what averages are. I literally posted the Fox data for you since you dont have a f**king clue what it actually is.

Given you literally just posted bullshit information in two posts, you really dont have any right to call anything anyone bs.

yeah if only that was the entirety of our existence as a sport.
Higher average = more subscribers

Keep posting bs it’s funny

That bit about time difference was a beauty
And on the other hand it means people go to matches at twice the rate they do NRL ones.

Thats great. I mean it doesnt seem to have helped much from a revenue standpoint, but good gor the,.
Great enjoy the bigger crowds

But from a pay tv perspective it means it’s filler content

Comparing a tv deal which starts in a few years with one that hasn’t been negotiated yet is really stupid

In my entire existence of over 65 years on this planet I’ve never seen anybody write such self serving bull shit as WB. The posts above by him are utter garbage.

Your emotional replies are a sign of a weak argument

Plus I’ve been to way more games than you

Why not try and make an intelligent reply to my post

How does nrl average 150k more per game if it doesn’t have more subscribers ?

Why would lots of people subscribe to fox when all their games are shown locally for free ?

If I had to guess it’s a Melbourne club isn’t it rather than the swans ?

You are too dumb to understand anything intelligent

because once again someone likes multiple sports

Melbourne hosts an F1 race. Yet the races are only on Fox Sports

In that situation someone watches the FTA game live. Then replays the Fox game particularly if smaller teams are on Foxo

Ratings are not subscriptions, Never have been. There is no data on susbcriber numbers.

Keep posting bs it’s funny

Thats some heavy projection. Dude you literally are proven to repeatedly make up data.

That bit about time difference was a beauty

I mean its true. There has always been more to this that raw ratings.

Great enjoy the bigger crowds

I think the AFL does enjoy its considerably bigger crowds.

But from a pay tv perspective it means it’s filler content

No it doesnt. Your perspective is not paytvs. We can pull quotes from Foxtel execs if you want, but its not going to go your way.

Comparing a tv deal which starts in a few years with one that hasn’t been negotiated yet is really stupid

Im comparing it with EVERY tv deal the NRL has ever done compared to an AFL one. Pretending otherwise is laughably stupid.

The way I see it is this;

nrl ratings are excellent and set a platform for an interested party/ies to pay a premium price. The nrl is well placed to take advantage of this in an ever changing landscape. I’ve no idea what that price will be but I’ve got no doubt Vlandys and Abdo will get the best deal the game can get.

NRL crowds have seen significant growth somewhat stymied by repeated sellouts in small venues. More growth is highly likely.

nrl participation is definitely trending upwards with the game finally expanding the playing options to ensure pretty much anybody under 60 can participate. The Cronulla comp is the very best example of this.

expansion is, in my view, all over the place. My experience of rugby league administrators is that they are expansion cowards. Perth should have a stand alone team. And it should have been put in place years ago. This idea of having a failed old Sydney club as a partner is clear evidence of how timid the game is in reaching its potential.

our major competitor has taught us a lot. We have a long way to go but the vital signs are strong.

I’m looking forward to the next ten years. I’m not sure how much longer I can read the utter drivel posted here in the meantime by some.

This is a couple of years old but those who are paying would be the top ones that get $72m a year from TV.

The point is that it is that the sport as a whole is huge overall
All the colleges in the top tier are now paying players. The top tier. FBS. Division I. 130 odd teams.

Have to pay players to survive,

Soon players will become employees of the university.

The changes in College Football over the past 3-4 years have been EXTREME

You’re love of afl is clouding your judgement here

Your afl mate already told you people who watch replays are counted you are just trolling now with this

Fox obviously values afl content. Games go longer. More advertising. More content. Shit game in my view but it’s obviously worth their while investing in it.
The content problem will be solved when we get to 22 or 24 teams, which will happen because we have so many places that will support a franchise. More games will then compensate for their fewer games.

Yeh let’s include the tv deals where News Ltd owned half the game lol

Not since 1995 has the nrl had the same number of teams and games as the afl

You love comparing apples and oranges when it suits then ignore stuff that doesn’t suit your narrative

You’ve been happy to compare the arl and nrl tv ratings by ignoring one nrl team and not mentioning the afl has had up to two more teams at time (extra game each week)

If you think ratings aren’t the most crucial driver of pay tv rights you should post that on your twitter so people can see how biased you are

I definitely do, in fact I`d prob pay double that. I have absolutely no interest in the other sports on Foxtel. And I`d be fairly certain that I`m not alone.

Well you would be maybe not alone but in the small % that do. Or there would be zero people watching Kayo in the off season.

We know that is not the case by the numbers Foxtel releases

I can't stand AFL I have shown memberships... you admitted to not attending NRL games.

Again comprehension is not your strength.

What he said was they would show up on the 7, 14 or 28 day report....

Followed by he wishes they still sent them. Meaning that information is no longer available.

Showing memberships proves nothing

You said yourself people can like multiple sports lol

Heck I even spent half a season going to Penrith home games when I lived in Burwood

You and wookie should do a collab when the next afl tv rights are due to be negotiated

It’s interesting the way you skip over every point where you are demonstrated to be utterly wrong. And you can’t even keep your story straight. I’m at a loss to know why your are here. You are absolutely incapable of holding a debate about anything. You just ignore uncomfortable truths, make up phony statistics, and endlessly exaggerate to suit your purpose. And you do it 40 times a day. Go figure. Oh and you use the laughing emoji every time you get clobbered because you have no rational argument to put.

This could go on all night but you are another.

Last off season 220k people cancelled. Leaving 1.1m users.

That shows the vast majority of Kayo users do so for more than just either football code.

So if they are saving a huge stack on TV rights pushing the cost goes down.

Why would a big slab of those people not stay with whatever the new streamer looks like?

I left him alone because I thought he was simple but it is better to call out his shit.

I am happy to debate with people because no one is correct but come at me with direct links or some time of facts...
