I know you don’t like reading but I said if he takes over super league like he tried before

He’s taken the sport of darts and grown it massively in England such that the tv deal now exceeds super league

He’s been angling to get involved with league for ages

He literally added more teams because it would Improve the value of the tv deal

And my comment on Pvl great timing is for the mongs on here who predicted that the environment for new tv deals was a hostile one

Dazn v Stan is going to be as exciting as origin

Even a crappy sport like Union in Australia is looking at more money and nobody watches it

Pvl really has got the game humming again
haha you've gone from a claim of union getting dumped by Stan to pay for NRL, to how good is it for NRL union is getting more money.

Darts currently receiving more than Superleague.

Doesn't suprise me, when I lived in London Darts was televised and popular all over the UK, unfortunately RL has never been popular outside of Northern England.

And of course, it just because old mate has negotiated a TV Deal with Darts doesn't mean SL is suddenly worth more

Darts has boomed because of Eddie Hearn lol

Until now the super league tv deal was more. Indeed it used to be double its current value

The same Eddie Hearn who wants to get involved in rugby league

The same Eddie Hearn that has connections to Dazn ……..

Just shows what competition for rights does. There was allegedly 3 streamers keen on the rights. Hopefully DAZN and SKY battle over SL rights in 2027 and drive its value back up.

That was my whole point from the start lol!

Dazn getting the rights here helps super league tv deal

Or super league getting Hearn involved with his connections to Dazn

If Eddie Hearn can get an awful sport like darts having a higher tv deal than a sport like rugby league maybe he should be involved ?

Heck he makes those fat pasty darts players into national stars

That’s the guy Hearn made into a star
I'd rather he not turn it into WWE like he has darts. Darts has yo yo'd in popularity in UK and some become famous in UK for decades, I grew up knowing names like Eric Bristow and Jocky Wilson despite never having watched a darts match in my life.

No, dopey. That lad made himself into a star.

Darts was big before your new mate Eddie was around.
