I dont think they'd be able to have a preseason comp and PacChamps like tourney in the same season. Its a big ask for players physically.
They’ve done it already for 2 seasons

The trial games they used to play got folded into the pre season comp

Actually starts soon too

One million subs paying 75 million pa is under 7 dollars a month

Nrl might as well give out free kayo jn Campbelltown it wil make similar revenue
Maths still not your strong point lol

$7x12 months x 1 million subscribers = $84mill.

Media reports already posted have it at $75m for their subscription tv revenue in 2023-24.

Unless they are giving away around 120k subscriptions, or lying about having 1mill+ subscribers, revenue can not be $75mill at a min $7 a subscription. Especially as that is a min and some people without an Optus phone account will be paying up to $25 a month.

Where are you getting under $7 a month, In fact where did the $7 a month come from? According to their website min subscription is $9.99 a month and max is $24.99 a month.

Optus Sport is available as an optional subscription to eligible account holders for $6.99/month when you activate through Optus SubHub.

Its a postpaid Optus offer.

And the source is reliable id reckon

“Subscribers now are paying and you pay $24.99 monthly if you don’t have a service from Optus,” detailed Dickens. “There is a 74% discount down to $6.99 if they are an Optus home or mobile customer. That means that all of the account holders are now paying. In the first five years, it was nearly all free."

Thats Optus vice president television, content and product development Clive Dickens.

Depends. They have a free tier which may count here. They may be counting unique subscribers over a year, including people that have left. Id bet it counts a lot of subhub subs.

But all I do know is that according to Singtels annual report, their total revenue from paytv operations was about AU$234m, including operations in Singapore.
