For France and for the up coming season (that's for sure) if not the next 2 years, Beinsport France will broadcast 3 matches per week (1 Friday, 1 Saturday and 1 Sunday).
Here in France they say that it would cost the TV channel nothing; does this seem credible to you?

3 matches of what? NRL, Superleague or the local comp?

Which is interesting since they don’t want to pay anything for the French super league clubs games

neither would interfere with their coverage of the AFL ....

I was talking about NRL tv rights for France, so yes 3 NRL games a week with minimum promotion about it but with very enthusiastic commentators.

With SL, for the moment no known broadcaster despite the presence of Catalans and Toulouse.
And to talk about the main local competition, Antarctica, the Sahara and the Gobi Desert combined cannot cover the media desert in which the SUPER XIII is immersed by both mainstream tv and pay tv

V’landys and Abdo are in the midst of critical negotiations over the game’s next broadcast deal.

The current agreement expires at the end of this year and V’landys is determined to deliver the NRL its biggest ever contract in excess of $5 billion.


Told you guys a seven year deal of 700 million pa was the way to go lol
