If you wanna claim Witty 'dived' for that, then it was a beautifully executed one. Far better then anything the Sharks players could ever come up with :p

If the Storm win:

Week 2
North Queensland vs. Warriors - Dairy Farmers Stadium - 19:45 Saturday 15 September
Parramatta vs. Bulldogs - Telstra Stadium - 16:00

Week 3
Manly vs. North Queensland/Warriors - Sydney Football Stadium - 19:45 Saturday 22 September
Melbourne vs. Parramatta/Bulldodgs - Telstra Dome - 16:00 Saturday 23 September

Week 4
Melbourne/Parramatta/Bulldogs vs. Manly/North Queensland/Warriors - Telstra Stadium - 19:00 Sunday 30 September

*Here I've assumed that:
a) the week 2 fixtures will be switched
b) Parra/Dogs will be at Telstra (no doubt about this one)
c) Manly/Nth Qld/Warriors will be at the Sydney Football Stadium (not so sure about this one, but still likely)

If the Broncos win:

Week 2
Brisbane vs. Warriors - Suncorp Stadium - 19:45 Saturday 15 September
Parramatta vs. Melbourne - Telstra Stadium - 16:00 Sunday 16 September

Week 3
North Queensland vs. Parramatta/Melbourne - Dairy Farmers Stadium - 19:45 Saturday 22 September
Manly vs. Brisbane/Warriors - Sydney Football Stadium - 16:00 Saturday 23 September

Week 4

Manly/Brisbane/Warriros vs. North Queensland/Parramatta/Melbourne - Telstra Stadium - 19:00 Sunday 30 September

*Here I've assumed that:
a) Parra/Melbourne will be at Telstra (likely)
b) Manly/Brisbane/Warriors will be at the Sydney Football Stadium (likely)

I thought even if Melbourne lost they would retain home ground advantage for week 2, but have to travel for week 3?

Now if this isn't the case what a sh*t finals setup?

Top ranking needs to be more benificial to the highest finishing clubs.

The top ranking team gets to play the bottom ranking finals team at home and therefore has the best chance of winning and earning a second home final and if they earn said home final it will also be a grand final qualifier. They get plenty of advantage.

And a 21-3, dominant, sometimes unbeatable at home team should beat a 11-13, demoralised and depleted team at home anyway.

The minor premiers get the also rans of the finals series served up on a platter at home. If they can't win that game they don't deserve another home final.

Well i serious think that the NRL should change the system to something along the lines of what the AFL use, atleast finishing top 4 has reward.

You get to host a final infront of your home crowd, and a win puts you only one more game from a grand final ... what more advantage do you want???

Parramatta don't, they'll have to play a home city final at their opposition's home ground (provided Melbourne win)

Why would anyone touch this thread? If you're looking for serious footy discussion then the Witty and Locky show is not for you.

Bronx win
Broncos vs. Warriors on Saturday
Eels vs. Storm on Sunday
Don't you just love the McIntyre Final 8 system....... Eels reward for beating the Warriors is having to face the 1st placed Storm while the Warriors get to play the 8th placed Broncos. Some reward!

Boyd has been trying to play rugby league all year.

Still hasn't achieved a result.

The sooner he plays for Aspley will be all the better for the Broncos.

Boyd = average

Boyd is a star, and he is very cute as well!
