With Mann at 9 we need Randall at 14 to cover if Mann injured (the 9 curse) or needed to cover another position, especially 6 if Crosslands needs a break

Mann is good in around the ruck but he lacks the service from dummy half. We've seen that before.
We need a genuine 9 and that would be Randall.
Ideally we need a 9 who can control the game but there's nobody in the squad that can do that.

I liked what I saw from Mann when he went into the nine. Seemed much more confident and more involved. Perhaps :

6. Crossland
7. Pearce
9. Mann
14. Hoy

Seems pretty well balancedm

on the NRL ladder predictor I did 3 scenarios , great, average and poor end to the season.

We are now on track to the poor scenario, which put us just scrapping into the 8. Only problem is I had the Cowboys and Bulldogs down as wins.

At this stage we are looking like we might miss the 8 unless we have a dramatic turn around in attitude.
