I just don't understand why Mortimer is the only person this season who hasn't been held accountable.

Every coach has a favourite player, one that can basically do no wrong whilst everyone else cant see what is RIGHT about him.

Morts has a lot going for him. he is a tough bugger, fit and can tackle.
He is also no where near a halfback/5/8 and he never will be.

As the halfback controls the future of the team, ando has placed the teams future in Morts hands. In turn he has placed his continued place as head coach in Morts hands also.

Both will be lucky to be at parra at the end of 2011.

If ever there has been an argument for that, it's been the last 3 performances. (let alone the last 10 years). We've got nothing.

Here's My view on the whole team...

Hayne should stick to fullback but kick the ball most of the time

Matt Keating Play at Hooker Kick the ball whenever Hayne doesnt (he kicked a few times today went alot further then Mortimers kicks)

Humble to 5/8 Play wide and run off the forwards in support

Robson to play half back just feed the ball to the forwards...

Our kicking game is what is killing us Do they not watch the last game back with the commentary on? thats all you hear when you watch an eels game Gould saying our kicking game sucks... Mortimer kicks worse then me he needs the off season to just kick practice everyday...
