He's not a certainty, but I have heard not only from a mate who supports Bradford in England, but other sources which I can't name that he is looking at coming Australia, to play in the NRL, and Manly are in the top 2 teams vying for him. The other team being the Raiders, but they have offered Kite 280K therefore Manly take the lead.

That is about as debateable as your maths:

Hopoate
Walker
Menzies
Kennedy
Solomonoa

& there might be others, that is an old team any way you look at it.

Haumono is not over 30. And who has ever won a comp without experience anyway. Last year the Panthers had Priddis, Sattler, Girdler, Gower all with bounds of experience. Manly need guys like Kennedy, and Fielden to add mongrel and expoerience to their pack. Plus Menzies still makes over 40 tackles a game and is hardly ever injured, Walker is one of the best 5/8's in the game, and Hopoate makes up to 200 metres per game. How can you say that that team won't be a force next year.

Manly a force next year   . Look at the NRL ladder and that will give you the answer. You have been injury free this year and are still 1 point from the bottom of the ladder. Heaven help you if you get your fair share of injuries next year.

Who cares about the length of the Injury list Rastus, its about how important those players are

we are missing our

Starting Halfback
Starting Hooker
No 1 Prop
(the three most important players in a football team)

Our Rep Backrower
Our Reserve Hooker and key impact player

Menzies has been playing injured for most the year
Haumono has miised various stages
and Hoppa missed a month

Don't forget we operate on a smaller Salary cap than any other team and Kevin Mcguiness left the club earlier in the season.

This thread started as a thread about Manlys team next year.....do not turn it into a slagging match between South and Manly....rastus first post was referring to Manly being a bunch of pensioners, although he has rocks in his like usual...he didn't refer to souths so that post stays even though it may be classed as baiting Manly fans (as we all know that's all this loser tries to do in here) but Manly fans just give the facts and forget about that rabble of a team he supports or it will be in ever thread in here again! Posts with Souths content have been deleted whether it was rastus or our own Manly fans.....keep to the point people please! cheers
