Giants should put the nail in the coffin with the fumble recovery and TD.
Wow great game from the Giants.
Not sure the Packers can come back.

No choice really. A punt probably wasn't going to change much (most likely a touchback, so net gain of 20yrds), and they had been stopping the Giants previous to this series

Yeah, Packers had to back their offense there. as well. Packers punter might as well hit the showers now, it's 4 down all the way for the Packers now.

I knew Giants would win, great job by them, particularly overcoming that terrible fumble call

So it appears that defense does dominate the playoffs. Of the four remaing teams three of them base their game around defense

It's hard to step up to make big plays on defense if you haven't been doing it all season long. Same works on offense, which is why Houston couldn't beat the Ravens, Yates is a game manager, and when he needed to find the big plays, he just didn't have it in him.

I was meaning more that both new Orleans and green bay (may be) are out

Packers, with a little help from the officials are still kicking.
Giants would love to be able to run the ball and just run out the clock. Packers might get another shot though.

this year a little bit so. Giants can still put some points on the board, 49ers had to win the game with a crazy final 4 minutes with 4 excellent touchdown drives. Ravens well yeh Ravens win on the back of their defence

I still think the Ravens may just step up against the Pats. Pats defensive efforts leave a lot to be desired.
Maybe, I just can't see Trent Dilfer Mk 2 out duelling Brady.

Agreed on the 49ers Giants Championship game though, it's going to be another great matchup that could go either way

just to try and clear it up a little more, Saints and Packers both had bad defenses and when their offenses sputtered this weekend the defense didnt help them out though Saints sort of did and failed at the last second

I know the Packers won't say it, but I really think the Death Of Joe Philbins son had an effect on them. I doubt the Packers have dropped as many passes all season as they did today.

Brilliant game all round from the Giants. Eli kept the ball moving, the defense bent but didn't break.
