Grossman sucks. Smith has had a pretty unlucky run. He's had a different offensive co-ordinator every year and a new offense to learn. Add to that he's had nothing but trash to throw to until recent years and had the weight of the world on his shoulders.

He's been consistent this year. Moves the chains and hasn't been turning the ball over a great deal.

He's safe and has been pretty clutch in the past when the game is on the line. The Niners rely on their running game and defense though. They don't have the players to play catch up.

Let me start this by stating Grossman sucks, I agree. But Smith has done less in the NFL than Rex.

I remember that game quite vividly and Touch Down Trent Dilfer did bugger all, all he did was not make mistakes, Smith has at least engineered some comebacks this season.

If he loses to the Packers in the NFC Championship game i don't think we can treat him too harshly because lets be honest, who would beat the Packers in the NFC Championship game? pretty much no one.

The Packers are just like the Melbourne Storm were 5 years ago, pretty much unbeatable haha.

From memory he had a poor turnover that was called back by a poor decision by the refs. Happily, Big Blue got the raw end of the deal in that one.
