With the Steve Irwin debate going on, and him being nominated does anyone know who else is nominated, and when it's announced (Australia day I think?)
If Steve Waugh is a nomination, I'd say he'd be a shoe in.

I think Steve Waugh thoroughly deserves it, he's a fantastic sportsman, great ambassador for AUstralia, and he also does alot for charity.

Considering the fact I havn't heard of the other 7 I'd say Waugh is a shoe in. And deservadly of course.
