I tipped Maykbe Diva a few days ago, when Mummify was the obvious fav, but since he was scratched I think I will have to re-examine my options... I still like Diva, but I think I will go for Frightening, with County Tyrone as a roughie.

I got Yakama in a calcata at the pub down the road.

He went for $40. So I ended up with $20 - which is what I bought in tickets in the first place.

You buy tickets.

It's then drawn.

When a name is drawn out, a horse is also drawn. They then own that horse.

After that draw is done, they auction the horses off. Whatever the horse goes for, whoever drawn it gets half the amount of the final bid (or they can buy it themself and pay half).

The person who bid the highest then owns the horse and gets the relevant prize depending on how the horse does.
