Parki. I've recently gone through the same dilemna. I live in Sydney (For now) and for the first two years I blindly supported Sydney FC. But as I've got the know soccer better and watched more of it I started to realise that Sydney FC represented everything I hate about sports.

Cashed up w**kers who try and run the league and buy anyone for any price. I hate that so much . Then when Culina called them "The Manchester United of Australian Football" I was sold. Because I hate Man U, so much.

Going for an interstate team just isn't an option and the Central Coast just sucks. Plus being that I go for the Knights and Newcastle United in the Premier league, it just made sense to go for the Jets.

So switch Parki, jump ship, support the underdog. You've got more chance of getting to games than I do.

ive been following the a league for two years

i would have supported the jets last year except for the fact that i got a sh*tload of fun baiting stupid jets fans at work, and on this board

however, that time is passed now, so i can actually be a real supporter as opposed to one who just causes trouble

so yes, i have thought about it...... i even went to some jets games last year.. so on you

It would have made sense for him to jump late last year, then. The hiccup at the season's start aside, we were generally in good form for the rest of the year - and knocked FC out in the first round of the finals.

Sorry to bring this post back and sorry to disillusion you, Parki but I've switched back.

I realised that you never really choose a team to go for it's normally a decision made for you. If going for a team was a logical choice I'd go for the footy team just down the road from me, but instead I go for the one 2 hours north.

You can't fake passion.
