NFT - Swans Honour Roll

At the beginning of the Channel 10 telecast they had a Swans "honour" roll. They had all these media personalities names and who they work for. This roll went for about 1 minute or so, and at the bottom it said this:

"All these personalities picked the Swans to win the Wooden Spoon"

What a laugh. It was great. I think they should make Gus announce who he picked to win the NRL Wooden Spoon at the start of the year. Did anyone else see this? Did you think it was as funny as I did?

Oh that does sound funny! I missed it though, cos I was at the game. The game was disappointing :( and to add insult to injury I was sitting next to some bloke who I don't know, who is a Brisbane supporter.

The game was extremely frustrating to watch to say the least. IMO the Swans were not able to get into a rhythm and play their natural game until the third quarter, and throughout the whole game they weren't manning up effectively.

i caught it, and i too thought it was pretty funny, on a lower note though, it was the best part of the whole telecast from a swans fan's point of view

Hopefully the lions can get there trifecta...and beat the AFL version of the roosters, the Eddiewood magpies for the 2nd year in a row.

They were definately a little disappointing on sat night but they have done extremely well this year as big tim said they were widely tipped to pick up the wooden spoon.
So cheers to Paul Roos and the boys for a great year.

How good was it to see Adam Goodes win the Brownlow medal (even though he has to share the honour), it was a fantastic reward for a great season for Goodes. What was also good to see was he acknowledged the effort of the team in his great form as well. Which is also great to see in a footy player.
Go the swannies in 2004

Just wondering, I know that you can bet on the Brownlow. So lets say you spread your bets for the winner and picked Bucks, Voss, Goodes, Ricciuto, Lappin and so on. Do they pay all 3 for the win? U would think that they would have lost some money.

Maybe they factor the possibility of multiple winners into their prices or something... but yeah I think the TAB would have taken some risk and lost some this year
