Looks like the Wall (Roosters Forum) is the latest club forum to suffer, all posts there now have to be moderated before being put up on their forum Ala the Parra site.

I once made a few posts in there - let's just say I won't do that again. And there was suggestion you get shot down for opinions in here.

That is why I didn't return - too many egos, too many Roosters-centred opinions, and no room for second opinions.

This forum, and indeed the old one, welcomed other supporters, even if we didn't agree with them. Roosters fans like Fletch and others were quite informed and capable of a reasoned argument - it told me that not all Roosters fans were as one-eyed as those on the Wall.

But the Wall was really like Cabramatta - if you're in the circle of people it isn't pretty but you may feel some sort of safety in numbers. It was messy, it was ugly, highly opinionated - moderation has been needed for a long time, they've only just stepped in to filter it.

If you stay on the ](*,) long enough they stop abusing you for everything you say. basically they give you a baptism of fire to try and get rid of anyone that is just there to cause trouble.

I posted a comment about why the roosters players did not win in the Footy awards and although no one agreed with my point of view not a single user abused me or told me that I was an idiot etc. =D>

If you hang in there and give as good as you get over there but show respect to those that deserve you will be accepted. MELON has not been on the wall for some time either he is AWOL :-k

who cares about melon? From all ive seen on my time on newcastleknights.com he was regarded as a pest....an annoying idiot with nothing to say except how much the roosters "owned our arses" and such and such...he never had anything relatively constructive to say...i always found myself having running arguments with him over something or other why you guys would want him here i have no idea....maybe all the hot weather has fried your brains or something?

Maybe you guys think i need to loosen up but seriously surely there must be better things to do in here and in life than fight with people
