Last night I watched World Idol and When it was Guy's turn next one of the hosts said "ah its good they can win at least something" meaning Australia loses everything 2 the british lol now i ask what have britain beaten us in other than rugby? We beat them in league, Tennis, Hockey and even their beloved soccer, someone needs to correct this moron and get his facts, right if nething he has it back 2 front !!

I remember where ive seen those 2 hosts from, they had a song out ages ago, Stepping stone, but i dont remember what the called themselves. A bit like Toni Pearen, havent seen them for a while then they pop out of the woodwork :shock:

Yeah, that's right. I think they were/are UK soap stars, PJ and Duncan but their real names are Ant and Dec. Some useless trivia for you ;-) Why do I remember useless stuff like that, but can't recall anything of use???!

Last night I watched the beginning of World Idol and saw Ant and Dec, and then went to the movies to Love Actually, and they were in that as well! :shock:

that show was so anticlimactic!!! the network hyped it up so much but the show was complete crap!
i was severley dissapointed... after watching the whole series religiously, this so called "world idol" were the cream of the crop was supposedly performing was complete shit!!!
but there were a few funny parts, i honestly wonder what that polish judge was on...and geez, that guys version of "maniac" was hilarious!!

Apparently some of the judges made some extremely ugly comments. The "Maniac" guy was horrendous - I heard that one of the judges described him as looking like a cross between an aerobics instructor and a porn star.

Some of the "talent" was pretty ordinary.

i can't say i was that impressed by it all. i am sorry will young destroyed the doors song for me!!! u can't do that to the song...he has a good voice but still and the last guy is no bono! wow what a bitch i am being....sorry! they were all pretty ordinary.

i figure though kelly clarkson is at an unfair advantage she already has international success ok maybe because their idol was so long ago but still and also the chick from the pan-arabic nations, should have sung in english- not everyone there was from an english background but they all managed.

just my opinion. but then again who am i to judge! ;-)

im sorry but the only thing i noticed about the idol presenters was how big one of the guys forehead was i mean it was huge........and yeah it is a but unfair that kelly has already had international success and thats why im not voting for anyone :roll:

I find it ironic... here they are saying they are the best from their countries, yet the judges get there and say that they are crap. So basically the judges are saying that the contest has obviously not worked in most countries because the eventual winner didn't deserve it because they can't sing. Maybe Idol should get judges that won't put the contest down... but then again, at least they are honest about it...

Perhaps the hosts were also trying to outdo each other in terms of wit and shock value. Plus there's the fact that most seemed to support their own country's Idol unashamedly!

I thought the show was a bit of a shocker, but I will still watch the Jan 2 show
