What about Lomax at right centre and Aiken moving to the right wing. Lomax could switch for last tackle kick returns. At least we know Lomax can pass the ball and maybe Aiken just has to cross the line either through them or past them.

I think aitken is a much better centre than winger. And I think nighty is a better winger than aitken.

Lomax will have to wait until he forces his way into the side through form, or gets into the side through injury.

I actually wouldn't mind the idea of Aitken playing wing. If he played wing, I would be fine with him tucking the ball under his arm and going for the try line. He would also be good bringing the ball back on the first tackle, like an extra forward, he already does this anyway. He could also be good bringing the ball back from kicks in broken play.

I think that Aitken was once tried on the wing and it didn't work out too well. I am not sure how he would go under the high balls either.

I think Lomax's best chance of getting into our side this year, is if there is an injury, but Mann would probably be first cab of the rank in that case. I doubt that if Lomax was killing it in ISP, that Mary would drop Aitken, Lafai or Nightingale to promote him.

Agreed. I was more thinking that if lomax kills it in ISP, and aitkens form is woeful, then he may get the call. In that scenario, while Mann is doing a good job at 14, bringing lomax in would cause the least disruption and make the most sense.
