Decent game. Lusi Sione absolutely outstanding once more despite being stretchered off late. Should be ok for next week though.

Gateshead better than score suggested. Town got 5 tries pretty late on.

Re: Sione again...picked this up off Town's Deb Stokes from the rugbyleague.org messageboard:

"Throughout his career Lusi has had numerous approaches from both NRL and Super League however his committment to his church has always been is main priority and it shows the measure of the man that nothing will come before that."

Scored a hat trick v GB in 2003 at Headingley too.

Wow, I'm assuming Workington Town allow him his freedoms on Sunday morning (or Saturdays), which he would be less likely to get if he has to play or travel at SL level.

Seen him play twice now, a very handy player. Workington seem to be able to play a range of styles of footy to suit the occasion, and will be pushing very hard to get that grand final spot.

I don't think so? But his name's easy to confuse with Zebastian Lucky Luisi if that's who you're thinking of...

I was at Batley v Dewsbury the other week,Dewsbury didn't really ever look like being in the game.It's unfair that the third from bottom team in NL1 has to play the play off winners,but oh well.
