Granted, but at the same time - just because a few people here didn't know of it's existence, doesn't mean the result would've changed greatly.

Sure thats a fair point but was it only an internet poll??

If it was, I dare say a token poll on the nrl site was not the deciding factor in moving games, as suggested if it is for tv ratings it would have been moved no matter what.

However if it was to be a legit decision for the fans im sure telling people on the big screen at half time would be a good way to let the fans know of the proposal.

Who gives a f**k about polls anyway?

Only you apparently.

You seem to think they determine some sort of right or wrong, cant you see people here are just giving their opinions.

The question was put out there and the majority agreed.
Personally, I couldnt give a rats if I'm only one of 15000, my opinion is my opinion and if it goes against the grain, stiff.

Maybe you just got the sh*ts nobody wants to play games with you?

Well you lot have a funny way of showing it. On NRL.com the poll was posted for agreeance or dissatisfaction with the choice... IIRC around 50% were happy with it... but I'm guessing because it disagrees with what you believe it's not valid? Come on fishy fishy fishy...

f**kin grow up for once

Yeah because you replying to every single post I make in this forum is sooo mature... Heard of the ignore function you silly frigwit?

All I'm doing is pointing out that the vast majority... that voted in that poll anyway, agreed. I don't recall saying your opinion wasn't valid... everyone's is. I just happen to not like it. Or am I not allowed to say that now? Get a grip and talk about the footy for once instead of what you think is my warped take on it.

what time does the grand final kickoff happen 8pm aussie (????????????)

if so thats 11pm nz time (if i work out daylight savings right) which is way to late for little kids to watch on a sunday night before school. and on free to air tv it would probably be on monday night.

I didnt say it was invalid, I just dont like the notion of no more sunday afternoon finals. Though I bet even if 95% of supporters said they dissagreed it still would not have made a difference.

I have severe problems?
You're still here picking at the matter. Referencing multiple posts of mine... continuing to care about something so insignificant when noone else does anymore. Any other person without a warped silly agenda would have moved on a long time ago but here you still are, wasting your time on me. Get the clue - I'm not going anywhere... and your attempts to drive me out aren't going to work.

7:00pm AEST kickoff. 10:00pm NZDT (which begins... would you believe, the night before). Not sure why kids in bed would be an issue... it's the middle weekend of the school holidays for both NZ and QLD... and the first weekend of the holidays in NSW and Victoria too...

Each to their own though.

Dunno bout dodgey, simo.... I give my 2 bobs worth on the topic and the next minute im "sooking on" about it.

Funny though, most here have the same opinion.
Hardly surprising when that topic is 'no sunday games'

Maybe not but it's the case this year... having said that even if it's the middle weekend... at worst it would be the first weekend of holidays wouldn't it? Either way, no school the Monday after. ;-)

Football on a sunday afternoon in September is second to none (Particularly at the SFS , im happy to scrap the Telstra semi).

That Tigers\Broncos semi last year, which we won, had an incredible atmosphere and feeling.

As the sun went down, so did the Broncos season.

Im a traditionalist, hate to see all these facts sliding away. People can say but people work Sunday afternoons, well people also work saturday nights.
