No Johnson and Leuluai as halves, no NRL title.

Just like to remind Albert Einstein that Johnson is well known for disappearing at the back end of tight matches. I thought Townsend was passable, the whole team lacked energy and attention to detail in attack..

And I do agree that Townsend wasn't as bad as made out.
Everyone fell off in the second half.

Friend copped a bit of blame (rightfully so), but there was an incident he passed to Lillyman which wasn't really his fault. Lilly was standing around in no mans land and Friend instinctively threw a catchable pass, he wasn't ready at all. It was just really poor direction from everyone.

In that particular instance everyone on the field and in the stands knew the ball was going the other way, except of course for Friend who passed to nobody. I think Friend often distributes the ball to the wrong side.

I thought it was a good pass and an easy catch for Lillyman, but it may have been the last tackle, and that's why he shouldn't have been the target. Not quite sure but that's the only reason I can think of.

He passed first , then looked..

wasn't that flash.

I was wondering if the pass was intended to go beyond Lillyman. Either of them could be blamed for lacking concentration in that situation. Friend seemed to be switched-off on a few occasions in that game. Dementia?

Lets give TL hooker, give Friend a rest with the Vulcans. No 9 is going to be our Achilles heel for 2014. Chad is fine at 6 (Just keep his kicking to a minimum and more running with close passes)
