Pretty disappointing.
I signed up to a subscription for the first time recently but if the world cup doesn't even rate a mention I might retract that pretty quick

SMH is a rugby Union newspaper.
They had a full page report on the Tahs trail match...I can only imagine how few people read this.
Their circulation is small and they've had to have huge cut backs on writers.
I stopped reading the smh when Steve Mascord left.

The coverage in the mainstream media has been dire IMHO..
The only printed paper I get these days is The Weekend Australian so I don't know what's going on in print but all the online News sources have had nothing except the small mention of Harry doing the draw and the Mental Illness initiative. Nothing on the team or the opener..

It's pathetic..

I doubt Nine will have anything to with WC. Seven have covered the last 2, but I wouldn't be surprised if 2021 will only be seen in Australia via Foxtel or streaming
