No more pain

I'm no longer feeling any pain post-workout. During my time at the gym I still feel the usual burn, but the next day it doesn't feel as if I worked out at all the previous day, and sometimes all feelings of fatigue in my muscles are gone an hour or so after I leave the gym.

I change my routine often and I haven't lightened the weights I've been lifting or slacked off during my time at the gym, but like I said, I'm still not feeling anything the day after.

Is this something that should concern me?

You're fine, your body is just getting used to lifting.

As long as the weight is going up and the form is good, don't worry about not being sore the next day.

Pain (the good kind, not the injury kind) you should feel during your workout to make gains. DOMs or Delayed Muscle Soreness is always worse when you just start out exercising or have had an extended period away from it. The more regular you make your exercise sessions the less DOMs you will experience post workout as your muscles will adapt to the punishment.

As Martli said, you are golden if the DOMs has stopped as your muscles are recovering faster than they used too. It certainly isnt a bad thing.

I have just changed my program (dropped weights and focusing on form and less developed groups) and am feeling it again bigtime.

Did legs last Tuesday and wasn't pain free until Saturday. Upper not so bad, though I am quite limited as I am rehabilitating a dodgy AC.
